Being the daughter of a photographer and a producer, I started shooting at a very young age with my father's cameras until he gave me my first Nikon F90 at the age of 12. From that moment on, light and image became my toys. Attracted by film language, I graduated with a degree in Cinematography from ESCAC (Catalonia Film School) and later expanded my knowledge at the prestigious Maine Media College in the United States. I have worked in different roles before becoming DoP, such as focus puller and gaffer, to learn more about the technical aspects of lighting and camera as well as understanding each role within a set. Later on, I’ve worked as a Director of Photography in a wide variety of projects from advertising and documentaries to short films, video art and fashion films.
I think every project has it’s own unique aesthetics, and my job is to find it.
